| What the irony. XD Many complain (including me) about the "Classic Sonic VS Modern Sonic" war. And I started this. What I basically want:
- Get rid of "Sonic Advance" Sonic. =P
It's time to go back and start using the black-eyed, short-needled, darker-skinned(?) hedgehog again.
- A full sheet with all poses from STH 1-2-3
- Something to promote this site (This our chance to show them our insane fan love to that hedgehog )
What I basically need:
- People (who have a little bit of talent)
- Something to drink
- Even more people!!!
This is all voluntary though, so nobody gets hurt if they start slacking off. So, I started a little and maybe this for starters. Let me see the members, then I will be more specific about the palette. Who will supervise all this, you ask? - The Ultra Director

You can still try though. That's why it's a collab. We do it together, we fix it together. No problem in that. =)

| Not bad. Although I'm making a PERFECT transition.
If you noticed, Old-Sonic is is 6 pixels higher and wider then New-Sonic. Which is what I'm workin' on. I plan to make the transition as perfect and as smooth as possible. (12 frames total)

| Nope. Sonicretro made an edit of the Sonic Unleashed model. From this: To this: Now side-by-side: And they made a very great job on that. Credits to all who made this and Sonicretro. (It was a collab) You can't compare the classic sprites with GBA ones. That's totally wrong. | |

| Well TOO BAD! DX I'm only looking at the facts. The 3D? ...Isn't...that...bad... But overall, Classic Sonic is bigger then New Sonic in SPRITE comparison... Not no 3D... Even so, he was still taller in the OVA... ...If you have a problem with that then I'm not joining then... - Spoiler:

My alternate answer would've been MUCH more harsh... Don't ask. I'd rather not say...

...If you have a problem with that then I'm not joining then... lol, where's your source then? To tell you the truth, I don't have one to support my claim. However, it's common sense that you grow after time and stop growing after puberty (Am I right? I don't even have biology, lol) Same goes to Sonic, despite being an animal. Again, nothing to support my mindless babbling. Just common sense tingling here. Also. Ever had the fact that the Genesis was a console and the Gameboy Advance a handheld and both have different resolutions? Genesis: 320 x 224 GBA: 240 × 160 It's pretty obvious that the sprites are bigger and more detailed in the Genesis series compared to the small GBA screen. It's like comparing SMW Mario with GEN Sonic. (perfect example <_<) The OVA doesn't prove anything, except you have the inches. Here it goes again. Me babbling about stuff I shouldn't know. PS.: For the resolutions I do have source: GBA Genesis

Ripping sprites from emulated games. Can't exactly give you proof because my oh-so-ingenious brain deleted the files after I took the sprites from the pics. xD - Pkmn2 wrote:

(perfect example <_<) Well yeah, what'd you expect? BUT EVEN SO, they STILL could've made New-Sonic sprites in the Genesis. Vice-versa for Nintendo and Sonic Team with the GBA. - Pkmn2 wrote:

Care to show me your progress?

| Sure, but thank my laziness for only having a couple done. lol The transition is only the same color at the moment. When I have it finished (design-wise) I'll have each sprite fit the color transition as well... - Spoiler:
In 0:10 minutes after I posted this, it is now obsolete from updating... lol

| Okay. How about a deal? After you finish your transition, let's post it in the NG boards and ask which ones looks better. Yours or mine. The one with the most votes, will be used as reference. Let's see... End of vote would be "End of page 3" max "End of page 5". If it won't get any replies, then one month after you finish your transition.
What do you think? | |

| Well the design-transition is done, I need to finish the color-transition now... Ugh, I need a break. I'm serious! I've been doin' an all-nighter on this! All these hexadecimal number calculations to configure the right color of blue (and the rest of corse) in 12 transitions. All in a well-organized order... Not even on the 5th color and my head's hurtin'! - Spoiler:
Can't seem to find the smiley that's takin' Tylenol with an icepack on its head. lol, 'Cause that's how I'm feelin'.
